Ming Yi turns Progress upside down: Kun, the earth, now sits above Li, the fire, so the sun has slipped below the horizon. The light still burns, but it cannot be seen. This hexagram carries the memory of wise people who served under unwise rulers and survived by dimming their outward brilliance while keeping their inner judgment intact.
